In order for each patient to benefit from the best possible services at each level of their journey, the clinic Avicenne adopts a quality policy and approach, as part of its strategy, that continuously seek excellence for its patients, doctors, employees and partners ..

This quality approach is based on 3 essential indicators:

Patient satisfaction:

We always take into consideration the needs of every patient and get a safe and efficient medical care. We make sure that patients are informed about their state of health and that their rights are respected.

We are convinced that good communication with the right people at the right time is a key factor in our mission to improve the patient’s journey and their satisfaction.

Our institution strives day to day to provide its patients with the best possible experience throughout their stay.

Patient safety:

One of the goals defining our quality policy and approach is to develop a strong culture of safety within our healthcare institution, especially by pursuing a risk management dynamic.

The safety of the patients, doctors and nursing staff is one of the top priorities of the clinic Avicenne.

We do everything in our power to provide everyone with high security during their stay, a major factor that contributes to patient satisfaction. We set up and maintain an entire system of control and planning within the clinic for systematic management of hygiene, infection surveillance and control, surgical safety and vigilance. Indicators such as the number of near misses (i.e. falls), cases of pressure ulcers or the number of unplanned readmissions and re-operations are constantly recorded.

Certifications and accreditations:

Obtaining and maintaining a certification or accreditation is for us a self-assessment and guarantee of a demanding quality process placing people at the heart of our concerns. Our management is permanently striving to achieve and maintain a high level quality of medical services, patient safety and transparency.

In this quality approach, our accreditation objectives concern for instance the following certifications:

  • ISO 9001 : for all of our activities
  • ISO 13485:2003 for the management of medical devices for sterilization
  • ISO/CEI 17025:2005 for the management of Laboratories
  • ISO 15189:2012 a standard that is specific to medical biology analysis laboratories
  • ISO 13606-4:2019 or the 8-level EMRAM model developed by HIMSS concerning the electronic patient record and its use

A policy of continuous improvement and our culture for quality services was set up in place and subject to strong requirements in order to offer optimal and personalized care to each patient.

The clinic Avicenne strongly believe that annual publication of data and quality indicators systematically benefits patients and promotes competitiveness between health institutions in Algeria. We are convinced that free enterprise and maintenance of a healthy competition between healthcare providers contribute to an innovative health system and a medicine accessible to all.
